Study in Germany: why the first title sets the course

Studying or completing vocational training in Germany can open the way to working here later. Anyone who states the wrong purpose as early as the visa stage has to change it afterwards – and that does not always succeed.

From graduation into employment

After graduation, a transfer to a title for gainful employment comes into consideration, and for academic degrees often the EU Blue Card. Periods of study can later matter for permanent residence.
