Rechtsanwaltskanzlei Tasli in Düsseldorf has been advising and representing companies and individuals for over 15 years in all areas of migration law and social law. As a specialist lawyer for migration law and for social law (Fachanwältin für Migrationsrecht und Sozialrecht), Ms. Tasli combines many years of legal practice with extensive experience from public administration.

Through her earlier work in the higher intermediate civil service (gehobener Dienst) of the Federal Employment Agency, she knows administrative procedures and decision-making processes from her own practice.

Ms. Tasli is a lecturer at the universities of applied sciences in Düsseldorf and Fulda and, since 2008, a trainer for public service employees on the subject of migration law. In cooperation with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria, Ms. Tasli also offers events for employers and human resources managers (HR) on the legally compliant hiring and employment of foreign employees and skilled workers.

Why a specialist law firm for migration law?

The specialist lawyer title (Fachanwalt) is a verified additional legal qualification in this complex field of law. It is awarded by the bar associations exclusively to lawyers who can demonstrate above-average theoretical and practical expertise and who have undergone demanding specialist examinations.

In order to continue using the title, specialist lawyers are subject to a strict annual continuing education obligation, which must be evidenced to the bar association. The details are governed by the Specialist Lawyer Regulations (Fachanwaltsordnung).

The specialist lawyer qualification for migration law has existed since 2016. Ms. Tasli has held the title since 2017 and is therefore one of the first specialist lawyers for migration law in Germany. Her expertise in this field is also shown by the fact that Ms. Tasli is a deputy member of the joint specialist committee on migration law of the Düsseldorf and Hamm bar associations. This committee reviews the evidence submitted for the specialist lawyer title. Under § 43c Abs. 2 BRAO (Federal Lawyers Act), the board of the bar association decides on the application for the title. More about the career of Gülay Tasli.
